1791 Diamonds has custom designed a plastic ring sizer to suit both ring and finger measuring for engagement rings, wedding rings or anniversary rings.

We detail below how to use our ring sizer and have the international ring size charts for you to convert an existing ring size.

How to use our Ring Sizer

To use the 1791 ring sizer, follow the steps below.

Download our printable ring sizer or "get a ring sizer" using the button above.
Either, find a ring that your partner wears- taking note of the finger they wear it on. Preferably not too wide a ring (ideally 2-5mm wide) and one that fits well. Place this ring over the circles matching to the one that best suits its inside diameter.
Or, put their finger through each hole till you find a size that fits comfortably around the base of the finger.
Take note of the number or letter it correlates to.

Useful tips for ring sizing

Measure the finger closest to the little finger on the left hand. (Traditional wedding finger)
Measure the finger at normal room temperature, fingers can become wider if at a higher temperature.
Make sure the ring size fits snugly over the knuckle. The ring should not be too tight nor swivelling.
If it is a secret, ask a sister, Mum or friend for advice.
Use one of the rings that they wears currently and measure the inside diameter. Note which finger they wear that ring on.
If you are buying an engagement ring with a wider band it is best to go one size larger.
