My fiance put a great deal of effort into finding the 'perfect' engagement ring for me and it was clear to him that it should be handmade. When he approached staff at 1791Diamonds, he had very clear ideas of what he wanted and how the ring should look in the end. From the first moment onwards, he was provided with committed, patient and timely customer service. He could discuss his design requests via email and telephone at any moment throughout the entire process. His ideas were completely respected and he was supported with professional advice through every step. The friendliness and enthusiasm of the 1791Diamonds staff were very comforting along the way, especially because the quest for the 'one and only' engagement ring can be quite stressful.

After our engagement, a further plus was the free resizing of the ring which was very easy for us and done within less than a week. It was a great advantage to have somebody we could trust with this because they knew the ring like no one else.

We are extremely happy with the ring and the service we received. In the end, I really got the 'perfect' ring thanks to 1791Diamonds and their fabulous staff. When it's time for wedding rings, we definitely know where to go!

I was all set to buy a ring from a well known UK high street chain, not knowing anything much about diamonds. I just happened to stumble across 1791 Diamonds whilst searching Yahoo, and I'm glad I did. Their website was very informative about the 4 C's and showed me what I ought to have been looking at. I found a gorgeous ring and then picked my own diamond to put in it, having weighed up all the options. It turns out that although I've spent roughly the same as I would have in the high street shop, I have a much better diamond in terms of colour, clarity and cut. The staff at 1791 are very helpful indeed, and keep you informed of what's going on.

They also offer a free re-sizing service which is included in the price of your ring. All in all, I was very impressed with the whole experience, particularly as they met a very tight deadline in getting the finished product to me. Oh, and of course the most important thing...? She said "yes", and absolutely LOVED the ring.
